Jumbo Resort
Built around a 2000 square meter tropical garden flanked by elegant Arab-style buildings housing the rooms, it is a hotel where harmony predominates, from the welcoming reception to the large central body which houses the restaurant, the and an elegant lounge, up to directly overlook the sea.
Our beach is Jacaranda Bay which has no equal on the Kenyan coast, a few km from Watamu. Malindi is 20 km away and Mombasa airport 125 km with a transfer time of about 2h30. Jacaranda Bay stretches for about 9 km and is part of the Watamu Marine Reserve. The play of the tides brings out small atolls known as “Sardegna Due”

The 92 rooms of the Jumbo are located in 5 two-storey Arab-style buildings, arranged parallel to the beach and around the Tropical Garden and offer solutions for couples and families.

The hotel has a main restaurant and two bars: Main Bar and Beach Bar. The treatment is ALL INCLUSIVE or SOFT ALL INCLUSIVE: it includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at the main restaurants with buffet service; snacks throughout the day and tea time at 5pm; soft drinks and a selection of alcoholic drinks (locally produced such as draft beer, cocktails) from 10.00am to 10.00pm. The SOFT version is the same as the first except for alcohol: they are excluded except for draft beer during main meals.

The hotel is located between the Malindi Marine Park and the Watamu Marine Park, the famous Jacaranda Bay. Our private beach is equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds.
The Jumbo, surrounded by a bougainvillea garden, has three swimming pools with sea water and two large jacuzzis with a large solarium; from one of the pools you can directly access the beach.
